 My star name is Melody Fox. I have lived and travelled all over the world, but I’m an American Journalist (from Washington D.C.) and a DJ, Special Guest, living between the USA and Italy; English mother tongue, fluent Italian (both written and spoken), good knowledge of French, and a bit of Spanish. I am an expert in Music, write poems (have won several poem contests with a few poems having been inserted in books around the world), have started writing two books. As a Journalist in Music I have interviewed many great Artists in the Music field…some names: Depeche Mode, Queen, Peter Gabriel, Eurythmics, Stevie Wonder, AC/DC, Simple Minds, David Bowie, Donna Summer, Police, Liza Minnelli, Barbra Streisand, Loreena McKennitt, Cure, Mission, Lucio Dalla, Gianni Morandi, Ligabue, etc., etc.. just to mention a few, with interviews, record reviews, concert reviews, etc., having been written in both English and Italian on papers and magazines around the world, including my own radio shows. |

| Have also been on several t.v. shows, as DJ Special Guest. At the time of writing, I have my own music column on “Cocktail by Night”, and I have my own show (my compilation and mixing, not my voice!), online, on www.looplive.net, every day, except Sunday, from 2 to 3 p.m. (local Italian time). The show is called “Café on Groove” and my compilation beats around Rock*Electronic*Contaminations (Rock is both new, of these times, and from the past, especially the eighties, which is my era!). In the daytime I teach conversation English in High Schools, Universities and private tutoring…I have also held Music Seminars with the American Embassy in
Rome, Italy. At night, Melody Fox becomes the Princess of Rock,(this is a nickname given to me by many of my Fans around the world who have listened to me!) at the console, as Special Guest, in clubs, pubs, diskos, all around
Italy. The Music proposed in console is either Rock*Contaminations or Elektro House*House*Contaminations: I spin mainly with vinyls, but also use cds, in some circumstances. Some of my hobbies: biking, star gazing, gardening, I collect elephants stars butterflies, and, besides poems, I also write rimes. My motto is LOVE PEACE MUSIC (copyright), which is also my inspiration towards life. d(*_*)b |
